FEATHERS

What I woke to find today,

I found we all were cheated.

Stuff it down your throat he said.

Slaughtered hope, lay desperate.

Be careful not to breathe he said.

You take up too much space.

I can move outside myself.

If that will make you safe.

Feathers from her wings were stolen,

pillows lay before him.

Sadness stuffing takes its place.

His emptiness adores him.

Virgin death on sale today.

Half price is just for daddy.

In death the best intentions lay.

Lay quiet, make him happy.
